Runaway Publishing

A branding and book cover project for book publisher’s Runaway Publishing. As their demographic are teenagers, the brand had to appear modern and young but also professional. The branding incorporates a simple visual of an abstracted letter ‘R’ with a minimal contrasting colour scheme of white and maroon to reflect this.

 

The book covers also carry the theme of appearing modern but also professional, utilising realistic, hand drawn illustrations to appear more visually appealing to the teenage demographic. The books utilise a colour coding system of blue, green and black to reflect the categories of fiction, non-fiction and educational respectively. Assisting the reader to associate the individual books to the brand whilst being able to separate them into their own categories.
